We have been sucsesfull in securing a grant from the Akarana Community Trust, who funded $3,223.48 worth of new STIHL trail maintenance equipment for the club. This includes: • STIHL BR 800 Petrol Backpack Blower • STIHL KM 131 R Petrol Combi Engine • STIHL KB-KM Bristle Sweeper Combi Attachment These tools will make trail maintenance far more efficient and help us keep the trails riding better year-round. The new log bridge across the creek crossing at the bottom of Darkness Trail up the Hotoritori has now been completed — and just in time too! With some of the heavy rainstorms we’ve been having lately, the creek has been running pretty high, but no worries now… just ride the log bridge instead of getting swept down the flooded creek 😂 A huge thanks to everyone involved with getting this cool feature finished.
