She's been a busy week and weekend with the preparation and packaging up of a series of boardwalk building material kits that we helicoptered in to the Karaka trail on Friday, then the installation of some of these over the weekend. These are creating long term fixes for a few real boggy areas that will stay muddy "year round".
A massive thank you to all those volunteers who have pitched in to pull this off, to Skyworks who were such a fantastic and professional team to work with and to ITM building supplies Kopu who have supplied the TMBC with the materials at just over cost price and the Thames community board for the overall grant that's funding this part of the project
